What are the characteristics of a good teacher??? =)

Teacher is someone who plays an important role in our lives. They give us good knowledge so that we could become successful in our respective lives. I believe that most of us have a good fortune of having at least one good teacher in our life. But, what are the characteristics of a good teacher? In my opinion, a good teacher is someone who has good personalities, skilful, and last but not least has a lot of good knowledge.

To begin with, a good teacher should always has good personalities. It is because students always get attracted to teachers with good personality such as friendly, enthusiastic, patient and kind. As far as I am concerned, the most important characteristic of a good teacher can have is to be friendly with their students. It is a plus point for a teacher, if his students can share their problems with him without being afraid or hesitant. I believe that if students always share their problems with teachers, their relationship will be closer. Furthermore, teachers who have friendly manner always can teach through the best ways and they can help students more. I have seen an example of this. One of my teachers who had a friendly manner with her students could help my classmate to discover her problems and lastly my classmate has been success in her study.

Another important characteristic of a good teacher is his knowledge and own education. There is a saying that “A teacher is only as good as his knowledge is”. So, teachers must have good knowledge whether in their subject or other subject. They should master whether in theory, subject and curriculum in order to teach their students. If they themselves lacks in the knowledge of a certain subject that they teach, they are never going to make name for themselves as good teachers. Good teachers should study more about the lessons that they want to teach and know some ways to attract students on the lessons that sound boring. If a teacher knows some way to make students interested in lessons then studying will be fun for most students.

Apart from knowledgeable, a good teacher should have their own skills. For example, good teacher should have good communication skill in order to teach their students. It is very important for a teacher to be a good communicator. It is because this characteristic will benefit a teacher in several ways. For example, if his communication skills are good, he can convey his lectures with better skill and results. Moreover, if a teacher is a good speaker, his class strength increases automatically. People love to hear a person who can speak well enough.

In a nutshell, a good teacher should be versatile. They must have the ability to attract their student with their good personalities such as be friendly to them. They also should have a lot of knowledge whether in curriculum or other knowledge. Lastly, good teacher should have a very good communication skill to attract their student to listen them during the lesson. So, I am very sure that if teachers have all these characteristics, they will be a good teacher to their students one day.

His Mom!!!

Hello friends...
Today, I would like to share a story titled " MY MOM ONLY HAD ONE EYE".  So, this is the story...

***************************************************************

My mom only had one eye.
I HATED HER…

She was such an embarrassment. She cooked for students and teachers to support the family. There was this one day during elementary school where my mom came to say hello to me. I was so embarrassed.

How could she do this to me? I ignored her, threw her a hateful look and ran out. The next day at school one of my classmates said, ‘EEEE, your mom only has one eye!’ I wanted to bury myself. I also wanted my mom to just disappear. I confronted her that day and said, ‘ If you’re only gonna make me a laughing stock, why don’t you just die?’

you should die!

My mom did not respond… I didn’t even stop to think for a second about what I had said, because I was full of anger. I was oblivious to her feelings. I wanted out of that house, and have nothing to do with her. So I studied real hard, got a chance to go abroad to study.

Then, I got married. I bought a house of my own. I had kids of my own. I was happy with my life, my kids and the comforts. Then one day, my Mother came to visit me. She hadn’t seen me in years and she didn’t even meet her grandchildren.

I've got married and had kids...=)

When she stood by the door, my children laughed at her, and I yelled at her for coming over uninvited. I screamed at her, ‘How dare you come to my house and scare my children!’

GET OUT OF HERE! NOW!!!’

And to this, my mother quietly answered, ‘Oh, I’m so sorry. I may have gotten the wrong address,’ and she disappeared out of sight.

i'm so sorry dear.......

One day, a letter regarding a school reunion came to my house. So I lied to my wife that I was going on a business trip. After the reunion, I went to the old shack just out of curiosity. My neighbours said that she died. I did not shed a single tear. They handed me a letter that she had wanted me to have.

‘My dearest son,

I think of you all the time. I’m sorry that I came to your house and scared your children. I was so glad when I heard you were coming for the reunion. But I may not be able to even get out of bed to see you. I’m sorry that I was a constant embarrassment to you when you were growing up.

You see……..when you were very little, you got into an accident, and lost your eye. As a mother, I couldn’t stand watching you having to grow up with one eye. So I gave you mine. I was so proud of my son who was seeing a whole new world for me, in my place, with that eye.

With all my love to you,
Your mother.’

FACEBOOK!

Hello friends..=)

What are doing right now???? Hurm....let me guess...You are facebooking right??

Are you addicted to facebook? lets check it out...

I believe that nowadays, FACEBOOK has been a widely known name among people who are so into it.  I'm very sure all of you are familiar with this word. Right ??? Maybe 80 % of you have your own Facebook account. Am I right? =D I believe that most of the teenagers nowadays enjoyed Facebooking and some of them are very addicted to Facebook. Okay...do I have Facebook account? Obviously  you can get the answer if you  read my blog right? but for the one who never read my entry before this, I want to tell you that I also have my Facebook account.

BUT...

Am I addicted to Facebook? Hurm...maybe yes for the first  year using Facebook. Why I said that I'm addicted to Facebook? If you are Facebook users, you can simply know the answer. Am I right dear ?  Actually after I have created my own Facebook account in 2009, I almost spent a lot of time by chatting with my friends on Facebook. Not only that, I also love to comment and like the other status on Facebook.

like others status

Sometimes, I spent a lot of time by watching a lot of  nice photos on Facebook. Besides, before this I always busy updating my status and change my profile picture.

My top profile picture on Facebook! Naughty boy called Shin Chan.

Owh! Honestly, it is going to waste my time.  I think it is the negative impact of Facebook.

BUT...

I also can't deny on the positive impact of  Facebook if I use it with the right way. for me, Facebook permit us to study from each and every one and construct relationship with each other. For example, I can be friends with others by adding or approving them on Facebook. Facebook enable me to search my new and old friend. Even though I haven't met them for ages, but i still can get in touch with them. =D Apart from that, I also can share a lot of things such as Photos, articles, and current issues  with my friends. Sometimes, I can ask their opinion about the Photos, article or current issue that I have shared on Facebook. moreover, It helps me a lot in my study. It is because I can get some notes and question from my friends.

So, based on my experienced, I think Facebook has it's own advantages and disadvantages. it depends on the people whether to use it with the right way or not.

hehe...=)

PSSS : My advice for those who don't create Facebook account yet, you should never do that! hehe =D
NOW I'm glad to tell you that ... I'm no longer addicted to Facebook! It's boring...=!

keeping teens off social network??? Easier said than done! Right???

Kevin =(

Hello everyone..=)

Today, I would like to share a story titled "Kevin". Who is Kevin??? I'm pretty sure all of you want to know more about the story..right??? okay... lets move on the story further...

After reading this story, I found that this story is very interesting but quite touching story about Kevin. The theme of this story is about pressure put by parents to their children in order to get the best grades at school. Kevin are often pressured by his mother to get good grades at school. Even though he always performed well in his examination, but her mother do not satisfy with his result. He always scored 95% in his exam but his mother wants him to get more than that.

Mom, why you never understand me?? T_T

Actually, I’m very respect to Kevin because he is willing to follow his mother rules. He did everything that his mother asked him to do. He is willing to study instead of playing football with his friends. He is also a patient boy. Even his mother had scold him but he still can smile and went back to do his revision. He is willing to scarify for her mother. Even he was not happy to do revision almost all the time, but he just did that. He did not know how to express her fearful feeling to his mother and I think it is his weakness. In my opinion, he should be brave to express his feeling to her mother so that she will know what is her children’s feeling when she treats Kavin such bad way. He always being punished by his mother.

study! study! study!

Honestly, I do not like the characteristics of his mother. She is too strict to her son. As a mother she should be a loving mother and try to encourage and support her son to get the best grades in exam. Punishment is not a good way to teach our childrens. We should motivate our children in order to get best result in their study. Besides that, i do not like his mother because she always scolds her son. As a mother, she should try to be more patient and not scold her children.

By reading this story, I can imagine how Kevin feels when his mother always push him to study. she do not allow him to play football with his friend. furthermore, her mother do not allow him to watch football match. She asked Kavin to watch " Star Wars" instead of football match!
NO FOOTBALL!

"Drovers Road"

Hello friends..
Today I would like to share something about the article that I have read recently titled " Drovers Road "  =D Actually this article was about the problem faced by the drovers to drove for the cattle. BUT....what are the problems faced by the drovers??

So, let's find out what are the problems faced by the drovers along the road.
*******************************************
The drovers had to overcome the problem of the long distances to provide enough food for the cattle. He had to rely on the food that could be found along the road. He also showed great skill in manoeuvring these herds and had to ride ahead on horseback to check the wandering instinct of the cattle, redirecting them along the right track. Besides, he had to be particularly careful to avoid the cattle from stray into private land to feed and look-out for farms and blow a horn to warn the farmer of his approach. They also need to control a large herd and avoid them from getting mixed up with the travelling herd.  In addition, the drover needs to cope with bands of robbers from attacking him. He also had to have an intimate knowledge of the temperament of his animals in order to judge how far and how fast to drive them. Plus, they must make sure they are in good condition to get the best price in market.

I don't want to talk about that....

If you want to know more about the result, I think you better ask Mr. Google or Miss You Tube....
Actually, I just want to talk about GOAL SETTING!
Hurm....goal setting???
what is goal setting actually?
Okay...Let's find out!

From my reading, I can say that GOAL SETTING in broad term is the process of deciding the process you want, planning how to get it, and then working  towards the objective. Goal setting is not wishing or dreaming it is something that is progressively worked towards.

Okay..friends, what about your goal setting? I'm very sure all of you have your own goal setting...It is more than five right???? What about my goals setting??? more than ten??? more than fifteen??? Obviously,  NOT more than that! My suggestion was not to have more than five goals.

I've seen people with long lists of things they want to accomplish. AGAIN...I consider those long lists to be resolutions, or wishful thinking. okay....why I said that? it is because if you have a long lists of resolutions, there is no way you can be serious about achieving all of them...

Well, I have planned and created my own goals setting.

I should have my own goal setting from now!!!

* struggle to get 3.8 and above for this semester
* Always complete my work.
* Be a hardworking person.
* get to bed before 2.30 AM.
AND
*Say no to Facebook! =D

Smart Goal setting!

In order to achieve my goals setting I should not easily give up when I need to faced some problems in my life. I hope all my goals setting will come true soon.
